This is a very sweet film about a guy on a disastrous date who gets help from, of all people, a men's room attendant. When the date begins, the fellow comes off as a loud-mouth--nervous, talking about himself, ignoring his date's opinions and seeming very selfish. Frankly, I think the film made him come off a bit too self-involved and would have been better if he'd been more clueless and less egocentric. Regardless, the film DOES pick up a lot, so PLEASE STICK WITH IT! That's because when this guy goes to the bathroom, he talks with the attendant and the attendant gives him great advice. In fact, he returns to the bathroom a couple times and his date starts to wonder if he's okay. Fortunately, the film ends very well. The jerk shows that he isn't such a jerk after all and there is a nice unexpected twist.
Overall, very well written, acted and directed--this is a sweet little film that you can't help but like.
