Was born in Tehran, Iran September 8th 1979. She obtained degree film photograph in 2002 and a master's in film direction in 2005, both from the Art's University in Tehran. Where she began her film career with several short films. She has, throughout her work, focused woman's rights, as with her first feature film "Nahid" a film which won her worldwide acclaim. Nahid was selected for the 'un certain regard" section at 2015. Cannes Film festival, where it' was awarded the special prize of " Prix de i' Avenir.

TiTi is a 2020 Iranian drama film directed by Panahandeh and written by Panahandeh and Arsalan Amiri. The film screened for the first time at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival. In 2021, at the 39th Fajr Film Festival the film earned three nominations. Iranian Film Festival Australia presents TITI. A hospitalized, critically ill physicist, working on a theory about black holes and the end of the world, meets a rather eccentric hospital housekeeper named TiTi. Though single, TiTi is acting as a surrogate mother for an infertile couple in order to serve humanity and raise money to build a small home of her own. When the physicist falls into a deep coma, TiTi, raised by Iranian gypsies and possessing supernatural powers, performs a strange ritual to save him
