For a thriller then "Justify" was a really tame movie. The story was predictable and anything but thrilling. And the storyline wasn't particularly convincing.
The story is about Abby Lombard (played by Rebecca Larsen) who is out to get revenge on those who wronged her and killed her father. And Abby will just about go to any length to see revenge dished out.
Actually the story was really dull in the terms of pacing. The movie lulled itself into a comfortable, but slow pace, and never got out from that trance. And as such, the movie suffered horribly, because it just droned on in a monotone trot.
Actingwise, then the people who were in "Justify" did good enough jobs with their characters, they just didn't have an all-out great script to work with.
Also, the movie focuses a bit too much on the whole S&M and dominatrix fetish style, and it is to the extend where it is about to take over the movie. I suppose it is great if you are into that kind of stuff, but I watched this movie in the hopes of it being a thriller and not bordering on becoming a fetish-movie. I only found out about the movies alias title "A Dominatrix Story" after having seen the movie and when I was about to write this review.
There were no thrills of any kind to this movie. And if you are looking for an entertaining thriller, your choice would be better made on a whole other movie than this one.
I only felt justified upon the fading out of the movie and the start of the end credits.
