Anecdotes
The score is very similar to that of Planet of the Apes. After DC failed to get the rights to Planet of the Apes in the late 1960s, Editor Carmine Infantino asked Jack Kirby to create a series with similar plot and tone. Kirby had not seen Planet of the Apes, but was familiar with the concept and created Kamandi.

He man gone bad

Terrible conglomeration of planet of the apes,he man,and any other super heroes they could possibly throw into this mixed up mess.

First he is not a boy.

Secondly he is not the last male.

Third,throw in superman and none of this would have happened.

When does skeletor or batman and robin show up?

He man rode a tiger he rides a cricket. Haha.
