I become interested to this series after i watched the fourth movie which i don't really like. So what's make this series weak?
First this series (i think isn't canon) considering how it has many new powerful spell and magic, new lore that make no sense, and how they make the character have their personality as how the director like it, like they actually changing from one to another episode.
Second this series doesn't have a major continues story from one to another episode. I mean there are some story that progress but even in the end they give new villain instead, i mean they could make the last 10 episodes about Po sweep out the original villain in this series or get rid of them forever or such, the point is there are no real story between episodes it's just one new story about how they fight a villain and so on and so on.
Third they make some characters dirty, like there are an episode of furious five quitting or another where Shifu being such a jerk and unwise like how he is, and most importantly how Po being a complete brain dead like this series came out between the first and the second, while actually it's timeline after the second and before the third where Po should already get the inner peace and know kung fu better.
Some other things that i don't really like but not that much of a problem like the episodes doesn't contain an episode that only focus to one other character beside Po, at least that character get more screen time than Po. The animation and choreography obviously not as good as the movies but it is understandable.
I give it 7 because well it's enjoyable and i oftenly laughing watching this series. Despite all that weak points i think at the end one thing that matter the most is "are you enjoying it?", and yes i enjoyed it. Just take my brain of and watch this series with Po doing the most ridiculous thing imaginable. And of course furious five is here even though without their og voice actor.
