Anecdotes
Although Lundy's previous film NUDE NOT was shot in Toronto, it enjoyed more public screenings and local publicity in Vancouver. This garnered featured articles about Lundy's new project THE MAN WHO NEVER HAD A GIRLFRIEND in Vancouver's free weekly newspaper THE GEORGIA STRAIGHT during March and April of 2001, seeking women for dates and interviews for a film about romance, sex and dating. Consequently 30 Vancouver women participated in Lundy's film, segments of which appeared on CTV, one of Canada's national broadcasters. A year later in 2002 six more women were interviewed in Amsterdam and THE MAN WHO NEVER HAD A GIRLFRIEND finally obtained in a public screening in July 2004 at the Pärnu International Film Festival (Estonia), where it also attracted attention from nearby Finland.
