Sexual Art

Ken Docherty aka Kendo made this rather indulgent "Art Porn" feature among his earliest efforts for daring! Media, after a career shooting fetish porn. With wife Lisa Loves on camera it resembles her own directorial efforts (see the hit: "Geisha") but suffers from Mr. K's gimmickry.

The five vignettes are dreamy, with lots of dissolves (even using multiple images to have an actress move across the frame in fantasy-like fashion), a bit of his trademark over-cropping of image, and much black and white footage randomly inserted. The end credits have a tiny legend "Also available in 35mm" but the show looks like his other hi-def video shoots.

Overall effect of the five vignettes is boredom, as Kendo uses the same tropes, particularly the passive males deigning to have sex with beautiful Euro babes after sitting lazily on couches waiting for the femmes to come to them, over and over -certainly hundreds of times in a decade or two of his career. Other than Leigh Logan and Carla Cox the cast is not very high-powered this time out.

DVD liner lists "Keiron Lee" (sic) in the cast but he is not in the show and not credited on screen.
