Commentaire à la une
"Lee Gordon" didn't try hard enough, contributing a generic private eye porno that wasted a good title. Even Yul Brunner couldn't have saved this script.
Film starts off identically as did another lowly (but recently revived XXX picture of its era: '69' SUNSET STRIP. Unfortunately it's shot mainly MOS, detracting from involvement. His client Nora Wieternik (from FLESH GORDON) wants the goods on her husband as part of a divorce - that's a corny premise even without being identical to '69'.
A hump scene is shown in red monochrome, and there's plenty of visual evidence of hubby playing the field (duly photographed for posterity).
Our hero, listlessly played by George Peters, drives his T-Bird to a party where a who's who of early porn talent have cameos: Gerard Broulard, Terri Johnson, Kathy Hilton, Maria Arnold, Andy Bellamy and Starlyn Simone -making one wonder what the day rate of pay was for non-sex appearances - did it threaten to bust the budget?
The private dick is given LSD at the party, cuing some lousy distorted camera visuals, but he does get to have sex. Much of the soundtrack has been removed (as is their wont) by the After Hours Cinema crew, so my involvement dropped towards zero at this point.
Storyline pretty much falls apart in the final reels as hubby is confronted with the photos of his indiscretions, our hero humps "the other woman" (hubby's main squeeze), hubby gets mad and violence erupts.
When it's all over, he calls up his new girl friend to make a date to celebrate "the end of this thing" -my sentiments exactly.
Other than a chance to see Nora Wieternik's big tits and sexual prowess, film has nothing to offer.
