After Sci Fi-s exploring extraterrestrial life from different perspectives, Avery seems a sort of fresh air. The motif - the relation father - son is the axis, the air of modern fairy tale just works, the tension is well crafted, like nostalgia and delicat relation between them, the special effects are OK and the yard of house can be the perfect location for a sort of eulogy of courage in Star Wars manner.

The result - just a nice short film about childhood in memories of young man, about a man absorbed by his job, about a promise at five years old and the decision of young man after decades, about a father with essential task.

In short, just fair.
