- AnecdotesThis was the first Lego video game developed by Traveller's Tales to have actual dialogue with a voice-over cast. (Lego Island from 1997 also featured voice acting) previous installments only had gibberish.

Commentaire à la une
I'll leave this review relatively brief as I will likely play this again on another console, so could add some more at that point.
Following defeat in the "Man of the Year" awards, billionaire, and Presidential campaigner Lex Luthor (Clancy Brown) sees an opportunity and teams with The Joker (Christopher Corey Smith) to create a controlling gas that will ensure his election. Batman (Troy Baker) reluctant to turn to the rest of the Superheroes for help, eventually comes to see the values in their different skills.
So, it's a classic Lego game style. I'm playing the 3DS version which does not have Gotham as an overworld, but rather uses the Batcave as a launching pad for the missions. The story missions must first be played through using stock characters (generally Batman, Robin and Superman) but once the mission is completed it can be replayed using any of the playable characters you have unlocked. Their additional powers can give you access to collectables and sections of the level that were previously unobtainable.
It wasn't particularly suited to the 3DS, I didn't think. Switching between the characters on the second screen became fiddly once you were in the free play more and occasionally it was difficult to target on the top one properly. Whilst the game looked good - and the 3D effect worked reasonably well, I'd say that it wasn't the most stable of game experiences, occasionally crashing out to the main menu on me, and once or twice losing the ability to call characters from the wider team, that stopped my progress. It was fine, but I'm sure the 3DS version isn't considered the definitive one.
