Mohan Bhakhri started a film with Salma Agha and newcomer Ali Abbas (Zahid). It was titled "Bebassi" and was based on "Wait Until Dark".Zahid was a NRI from London who came to India to be with Salma Agha. He was introduced to people as Salma's first cousin. He was her right hand man and tended to all her needs. But behind the scene's they were a couple. Zahid had decided to become a actor back in London. That was the reason he came to India. Salma and Ali Abbas signed Bebassi .But as Salma's career progressed, she started to distance herself from Zahid. Zahid had become very possessive and was acting very unusual. Salma Agha decided to walk out of the film. Finally Zahid decided to quit his acting and return to London. He left the film mid way. The producer to sign Deepak Parashar for the film.

Asha Sachdev is a very young wife of an ageing rich Raza Murad. Both have affairs outside their marriage . Both know and both are frustrated . Deepak is a young innocent chap who moves next door with his friend looking for a job. Asha and Deepak meet on several occasions and start an affair encouraged by Asha. Most of the movie is about their sizzling chemistry . Both husband and wife keep confronting each other . One by one they are found dead, Raza Murad , Asha , their maid ... The rest of the movie is about finding the actual killer and his motives. Deepak apes Raj Kapoor in his mannerisms as an innocent gullible chap. Asha is beautiful and is good eye candy . Raza Murad is perfect as the villain . Over all a fine movie . It indulges you till the end.
