The interesting thing about this movie is that I could watch it in color or in black & white. Since the original movie was in black & white, I decided to watch this one that way as well. From what I have read, the blood in this version is CGIed in, which I couldn't really tell since it wasn't in color so just a warning about that. The movie is listed as 72 minutes but it isn't even an hour long if you cut out the start and end credits. The top-billed cast isn't in the movie for very long, which includes Beverly Washburn from the original movie.
I found this version rather boring. It tries to do its own thing while repeating some scenes from the original at the same time. I didn't have a problem with the acting for the most part, just that very little seems to happen. Then there is the constant music happening in the background. Okay, it isn't there all the time but there are just small pauses in the music when it isn't playing. I don't mind music playing in the background but it does become annoying when it is always there.
