I've watched a few episodes in a row via Pluto
live tv. As a real Crimes theme tv fan, I am here to report that this shows HAS to be one of its kind. All of these investigational tv shows are hard core facts of unfortunate events in where law enforcement does almost everything logical and intelligent to catch a killer. In THIS show, law enforcement is ridiculously stupid, lazy, negligent, ignorant, unintelligent, and any other words that mean similar. Investigators AND anyone associated to the victims story are very much implied to be the stereotypical southerner. The reason why I have enjoyed this show is because I appreciate the humorous depiction of unintentional uncommon sense. Unfortunately, I don't this the families that appear getting interviewed are fully aware of the way the show is going to project the crimes they have fallen victim too. The entire narration is what makes me believe this show is poking fun of just how southern swamp people can be in real life. They use phrases like, "all they could do was wait." When referring to law enforcement, when in reality, there were so many other things they could do , like corroborate stories "which is a basic requirement when given an alibi by a bloody suspect...." When dusting a 21 year olds (with a baby) car for evidence and ONLY finding a partial print on the rearview mirror.... Am I really to believe the car was that clean? I think it's also funny how every victim is always made out to be the nicest, kindest, most people pleasing individuals. No one like to say that they were kind of mean, or weren't liked much, or a bully.... I mean come on, no one had it coming? No one was ever rude or selfish or annoying? Anyway, I give this show a 10 out of 10 because it's unique, it's the first I've seen of its kind, it's a refreshing take on factual events that can give you a laugh versus making you feel bad or sorry. I mean I'm sorry for all the victims of these story's, but I can't help how this show presents itself and its stories.
