This is a show to take lightly. Or as litly as possible. It's not a requirement, but it helps.
If you consider yourself as one with a moderate-to-strong "sense of willing disbelief" then you'll be in fine territory.
But imagine if Monty Python's Flying Circus was made as a Police Procedural satire, and set in Korea. Now feed the writers and actors that ayahuasca-kimchi brew, set the cameras rolling and print it.
The trope stacking is *deep,* far deeper than a little show should be! Everything from the quirky-accurate autistic super-detective captain, to the bromantic rivalry between the sergeant and the cap... And onto the bumbling rookie over to the suck up officer, to the naive tomboy officer that learns something every episode.
All things considered, I laughed so hard the edges of my vision started to go white. K-Coms strike again. It happens once every 5 years, but when it's a winner, it's frikken platinum.
Hooo, I need a break.
