Sam stands on stage as thousands of fans go wild. Smart, charismatic, handsome, he moves them with his message, and when he calls for donations to his charity, the money pours in. Only thing is, Sam doesnÂ’t believe a word heÂ’s saying. Just months earlier, Sam was a typical college senior focused on keg stands, hookups and graduation. But when a surprise tuition bill threatens his dream of law school and leaves him thousands of dollars in the hole, heÂ’s forced to think outside the box. He convinces his three roommates they can make a killing on the gullible church crowd and the guys start a sham charity, campaigning across the country, raising funds for a cause as fake as their message. For Sam, embezzlement is easy compared to getting attention from the only person he cares about. When Callie, the tour manager and SamÂ’s love interest, finally discovers the guysÂ’ ruse, itÂ’s Sam's moment of truth. On the final night of the tour, before a packed auditorium and alone in the spotlight, Sam must decide what he really believes.

    Smartest movie ever-Created a new genre

    This movie was very well written and directed. It doesn't tell you what to think, but leaves you thinking.

    The trailer may cause you to think it is anti-Christian, but it is not. Lecrae is in it (#1 Christian Hip Hop Artist). On the other hand, some people are calling it a Christian film, but it is not (no alter call or come to Jesus moment).

    Other reviews- NY Times -"a smart, sly comedy...about the power of platforms".

    Indiewire -"…Will Bakke has crafted a hilariously smart religious satire".

    Movieguide - "Christian satire done right".

    Beliefnet- "Believe Me hits the right notes".

    Be prepared to laugh out loud and have a good time.

    Best to watch with a clear head as there are tons of little jokes that you might need to watch more than once to catch them all!
