Usually, Korean horror movies follow a specific pattern, where a scene is shot in two different dimensions. While audience will have a specific perception watching the scene directly, and then get surprised to see the same scene in different perspective, which reveals the shocking truth, Karuvanam too follows the same pattern. The reason why I am stating is that few told m that the middle episodes were kind of boring and slow, even before watching the final episodes. Then they came up regretting for saying so. That's the powerful way of storytelling and the director of this web series has efficiently carried out the task of storytelling with perfection. I am sure Karuvanam will open gates of new trend in horror genre. The actress performing the role of Shalini has done a remarkable work. What a dashing spell from the actress. The Exorcist with a 'Shutter Island' kind of flashback was yet another embellishment to the story.
