Logan (Ortega Jr.) and Jake Rivers (VanderLee) are two brothers who grew up in a broken home. Their mother died when they were young and their father Frank (Ortega Sr.) is an abusive alcoholic. While the summer progresses the boys come closer together and they uncover secrets from their family's past proving that the bond between brothers is special. Logan learns that life doesnÂ’t have to be painful after he meets Audrey Vandermolen (Adamovich). Logan and Audrey spark a new relationship, which leads to some new emotions and causes Logan to see a better future than the one he had been set up for. While the brothers and Audrey are growing closer together Frank begins to notice how he has failed as a father.

A great film of family, struggle, and love.

I decided to write a review on a local film I just watched called Lone Rivers. A very compelling story of family, struggles and love. They touched on so much I can't add much more for fear of spoiling. This film defiantly hits every emotion! The music composition was right on track too. It was so enjoyable to see all the local spots they filmed. All the outside scenes were so nice, I loved seeing our Michigan sunsets as well, oh I hope that isn't a spoiler. Everyone who worked on the film did a great job! Looking forward to seeing any future projects from this group. Everyone is very talented. I will be encourages others to go and see this film.
