Kaplan's film, "Over the Edge," received scant distribution in the States ad was eventually shelved. It was released shortly after "The Warriors," and exhibitors were afraid it might also provoke violence as "The Warriors" had done. Kaplan was out of work for two years after "Over the Edge.".
Unless it's Shakespeare, there's no line of dialogue that's sacred, there's no piece of blocking that's sacred. The important thing is that the actors have the best environment t give a piece of themselves. That's after all what they're doing.
