He acted in Laurie Johnson and Lionel Bart's musical, "Lock Up Your Daughters," at the Mermaid Theatre in London, England with Stephanie Voss, Hy Hazell, Frederick Jaeger, and Terence Cooper in the cast.
Solidly-built British supporting actor, in repertory from the age of sixteen. After the war, he had a popular act as a stand-up comedian. On screen, played small roles as assorted working men, from clerks and porters to cab drivers.
