Earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and a Master of Arts degree in Theater and Dance from the University of New Orleans and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. Along with her work on stage and screen, she practiced criminal law and worked as an advocate for children in the states of Alabama, Florida and Louisiana, and worked in the entertainment law field in California.
