Mossadeq and the Shah - a stage play about the first democratically elected Iranian prime minister (Dr. Mossadeq in 1953), the Iranian king (Shah) and the bitter power struggle between the two men which ended in a US-aided military coupe. The play was written and directed by Zia and toured many of the major US and Canadian cities. Mossadeq and the Shah were portrayed by Darioush Iran-Nejad and Hooshang Touzi respectively.
