Debuted professionally, as a comedy dancer at the Chin Lee's Restaurant in New York City, at the age of 15. Before becoming an actor, he danced for 14 years and was part of the 'Shea & Raymond' duo, which became one of the top dance teams in the country. They toured the U.S. and Europe and performed with the big bands of Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman, among others.
