It was revealed in the original screenplay for
Fire and Ice (1983) that
Sandor's character, Dark Wolf, and the evil sorceress Juliana had once
been lovers and that Lord Nekron, the film's villain, was their son. This was meant to provide Dark Wolf with his motivation for
fighting them as well as explaining why, in the end, he alone was able
to defeat Nekron. However, this was not featured in the finished film,
a change director
Ralph Bakshi claims he was not aware of.
