His play, "The Persecution and Assassination of Marat as Performed by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton Under the Direction of the Marquis De Sade," was performed in a Royal Shakespeare Company production at the Aldwych Theatre in London, England with Ian Richardson, Michael Williams, Glenda Jackson, Clive Revill, Patrick Magee, Clifford Rose, Freddie Jones, Elizabeth Spriggs, Robert Lloyd and Timothy West in the cast. Peter Brook was director.
