On June 8, 2006, at the road route Kiev-Nikolayev, Nastya (age 19) was in a car crash along with her then-boyfriend Vladimir Dyatlov (age 23) and his parents and two younger sisters, Maria (age 15) and Sophia (age 10). Vladimir's father died on the way to the emergency room, his mother was taken to Kiev's hospital, where she died, his younger sister Maria died 9 days later. Nasta, Vladimir and Sophia were alive. Vladimir and Sofia, in contrast to the Nastya, were quickly on the mend. Nastya was in hospital for a 3 months: she suffered a strong concussion and injury of her left leg. Because of the strong concussion, she still often suffers migraine. After the acident, Nastya wrote the song "You're gone.".
