Sydney wrote a short film called The Family That Preys Together which she filmed along with some of the members of her scene study class, some of the directors and some other crew members she had worked with on past projects. The dark comedy film was created for a film competition called The Demon Chaser Film Challenge and their team won the Best Acting Award for their work at the screening.
