Not long ago, I saw a clip in English with Farsi subtitles about the King of England during the First World War. He confirms the order to starve Iranians and says that this order should be kept under wraps and should not be mentioned anywhere. The name of this movie was not written in this clip. It was only mentioned in one place that this film was broadcasted on BBC only once and then it was removed from the BBC archive. This reference in itself is hilarious - unbelievable. I decided to see where this clip came from and who made it.
Finally, I found it, and unfortunately it seems that there is a propaganda film of the Islamic Republic called "The Orphanage of Iran" during the time of Mirza Kochch Khan, which wants to make heroes out of him and one or two other people and some Shirazi, Isfahani, and Tehrani mullahs, although Mirza Kochch Khan is remembered in the film that he sheltered 700,000 people who went to the north due to famine and cholera. Of course, according to some people, Mirza Kochuk Khan himself was a traitor who wanted to separate the north of Iran with the help of the Russians and establish an so-called an independent government, which Reza Shah prevented, but in the legends, especially of the Islamic regime's, he was fighting with Reza Shah so he was a hero (of course, this is another discussion that should be read and written more about). But it does not mention anything about saving Iran from misery, famine, epidemic diseases, and all the bandits that almost disappeared with the arrival of Reza Shah. Only a few mullahs are well remembered. Actings are often stereotyped and bad. But in terms of logistics, it is almost good. It means that it had a huge budget. Many crimes are attributed to the British, which is true to a large extent (and the Russians are referred to as neighbors and friends), but today this film is no longer a model of the English elites, but rather a reflection of the Islamic regime's own policy.
And that this film was shown on the BBC and then it came out of the archive, and this kind of talk doesn't seem right at all. Here we see the before and after sequence of the English court with better quality. And also that at that Iran it was still called Persia in west and not Iran. It was Reza Shah who asked the West to call Iran Iran because Persia (which is Pars) is the only a province of the Greater Iran. In ancient Greece, the whole empire of Iran in that time was called Persia because the Achaemenids who were the main rival of the Greeks came from that part of Iran.
