Let's get straight to the point, this is a remake or Daljit's "Jaat & Juliet", to the point where cinematography of Canada can feel straight up lifted from the original. However, this is the kind of feel good movie you watch while you're having a bad day or worse week where at the end of it's two and half hours runtime you'll find yourself smiling and kinda forget about your problems, be it for a brief period. Another surprising aspect of Bangali Babu English mem is despite being a almost shot by shot remake the dialogues are well written and fits within Bangali context very well. Songs are pretty good considering its a commercial. Acting is reasonably strong for the most part, will keep you engaged throughout the runtime. Comedy is average at best.
(I have a tendency to write reviews for old bengali commercial movies which didn't have a review on IMDB but I enjoyed watching during while I was a teenager. These movies bring back so many good memories)
