Officer baaba bouchard arrives from paris to work with miami detective garcia on a case. Killers have run off to america, and seem to be hiding within a non profit foundation. Garcia has his own, slow methods that don't seem to be getting anywhere. So when bouchard goes off on his own, he gets into trouble. But clearly he is irritating the bad guys, while slowly getting bits of the puzzle together. In a side plot, bouchard has brought his mother along to the states, and she's always finding adventures. Can the unlikely partners get through this investigation alive? It's good! A really good mix of serious story and light, fluffy ribbing and misunderstandings between the cops. Like a good buddy buddy cop film. Funnier than I expected. Directed by rachid bouchareb... he has won numerous film fest awards for his films.
