I'm a big fan of abduction movies, especially basement movies. This film is a really good psychological thriller. A bit unrealistic to think someone could have a phone and keep it in this situation, much less talk it so much and not be heard, or that the battery would stay charged for that long. However, poetic license can be granted by me, because I watch to be entertained, and I really enjoyed this movie. I'm not going to ruin it for others with spoilers, I'll just say that it keeps you guessing. Many will catch on and figure it out early on or partway through, but it didn't take away my enjoyment of the film. A decent bunch of young actors, especially the lead! The protagonist's role was seriously challenging and complex. The screenplay was really good, maybe it could've been made more plausible with quieter phone conversations and a bit more fear displayed, but again, very interesting right through the end. If you are willing to give a film like this a chance (just because it isn't widely marketed and not A-listers) I definitely recommend this intriguing hidden gem. I'll be thinking about this thought-provoking film for awhile. Bravo to the cast and crew! I've seen a great many low-budget films with poor production and bad actors, but this to me, isn't one. I hope it can find a larger audience because it deserves to be seen. I'd like to see more like this.
