I personally enjoy diving and underwater exploration, so this film is quite ok to me. I believe it is only released recently and is through online streaming platforms that I have watched.
If you're interested in ocean-related topics and marine life, you'll probably appreciate this movie. However, if these subjects don't fascinate you, it might not be your cup of tea. You may not like the pacing. The story is simple and straightforward, with the pacing picking up in the second half only. I particularly enjoyed the latter part of the narrative.
I wish there had been more background story about the protagonist. I'm curious to know more about her childhood and how it shaped her character. Nevertheless, since this is primarily a film about underwater experiences, I understand that the focus is on the ocean environment.
It is a more nuanced, quiet and realistic portrayal of marine exploration.
