This is a film that doesn't create any unnecessary mass scenes for the leads and just goes with the flow. Kolaigaran differs from the usual commercial format and stands as a unique thriller. The confusion that the director creates throughout the film seems to be an intelligent way to keep the suspense rolling on. Simon K.King's killer background score will keep you hooked which is a must for a thriller film. He adds some intensity that even hides the overall flaws in this film. The flaws don't seem the cause any problem with the pace and the main plot. Overall, Kolaigaran is a crime thriller that has everything to keep you thrilled till the end.
