Baby Be Good

While I am pretty sure there are many more Little Jimmy cartoons out there to see, so far I have been amazed at what an unlikable little creep this character was. However, when Betty Boop is babysitting the little jerk, she does not resort to child abuse but sings him a song. This song is the story of a little boy (who, interestingly, looks EXACTLY like Jimmy)--a little brat of a boy that tortures animals and the like. However, because of his evil, the fair (who looks like Betty) is going to punish him unless he changes his ways--at which point the film appears to run backwards and he undoes all the nasty things he's done. An odd combination of cutesy and nasty all in the same cartoon, this one is only okay to watch. Nice animation but the Jimmy is such an unlikable little creep that the ending was dissatisfying. I wanted to see him get hit by a bus or something worse!
