A nostalgic and interesting view on one of the hottest spots of the city of São Paulo which is Rua Augusta (Augusta Street), a place that
manages to bring together different cultures, tribes, all kinds of people in one street that back in the 1960's (as presented in this short) was a
cultural place with many stores, commercial areas and more, and as for the last couple of years and lately as well it's a place where nightclubs and
bars dominate the night scenery of the city and the fun never stops going all the way through the night.
It was interesting and curious to see how that long street used to be back in the day, with its confusing traffic, the 1960's predominant
style of clothing, music and art, and compared with today it's completely unrecognisable. It changed a lot but it still holds a relevance for many
people as a cool place to go. Here, some peculiar characters (such as an artist who tries to sell his artistic pieces) are presented with the narration
talking about them and the importance of that street.
For fans of nostalgia and curious minds who love to know about different periods of time, this is a commendable short. Not so enlightning
but quite enjoyable any way. 7/10.
