Musekinin kanchô Tairâ

The Irresponsible Captain Tylor is one of my favorite anime. It's nothing really special compared to many others. And there are a few points that do grate on the nerves (sometimes characters will repeat exactly what the last person just said, for instance).

But that doesn't hurt the enjoyment for me. What speaks to me is found at the end. Tylor's philosophy, the code he lives his irresponsible life by, is one to really consider for a while.

Also, there are moments in the series that are just fun to watch. Tylor will always escape peril, but never in a way one would expect. Just attempt to guess the end of an episode and you'll see what I mean.
