Produced by star Britt Morgan, "In Excess" is a disappointing VHS porno, meandering along under the direction of usually far more creative Jace Rocker.
Perhaps it is no coincidence that the filmmaker Jim Enright who collaborated with Jace on some of the best Adult comedies of this period (e.g., "Haunted Nights") made a far better feature with the same premise as this one, titled "Use It or Lose It!". Both present the cliche of a husband obsessed with watching sports on TV, and the reaction of the hapless, neglected spouse.
Britt is the lady in question, fed up with Tom Byron so she throws him out of the house. Her adventures with other men are boring leading up to a poorly-done set of Nudist Camp segments later in the show. Only bright moment is provided by Nina Hartley, her usual majestic self in a lesbian scene.
