In less than three minutes, Stan Brakhage hypnotizes and frightens us with a creative interpretation of the space and constellations, no sound, just images that blink on and off, shifting of shape. "Stellar" consists of many of Brakhage's known characteristics of composition, so if you know and like them you'll probably like this movie, if not, there isn't much you can't do about it. The big surprise comes on the very last frame with a strange picture after the repetitive starry like images. Still want to know what was that black and white image which pops and fades away very quickly. Well, here's just another experimentation. 8/10
