Dreamers

Made as a two-part, shot-on-film feature in the VHS era, this Nick Orleans project offers little sci-fi but okay porn for his fetish audience.

Part Two offers more plot, but initially we have the set-up provided by star Tina Tyler on a videotape talking to the camera, announcing her participation in a suspended animation project. To stay asleep for 20 years, she is one of three subjects (alongside Mark Davis and Alicia Rio) in a mansion facility tended to by a pair of machines Persona and Imager, whose voices on the soundtrack inform us what's happening.

The project is a pact between humanity and the United Machine Front, to facilitate UMF's machines "cleaning up the mess" humans have caused on Earth. A major plot flaw (for sci-fi crossover fans like myself) is leaving us with just three sleepers, it being unclear how widespread this project extends beyond the trio.

Orleans presents six sex vignettes, in color and black & white, involving the 3 dreamers having sex with fantasy players including Peter North and Kristi Waay. A pulsating musical score adds to the eroticism, emphasizing Nick trademark fetish lingerie including pantyhose and fishnet-stockings.

Romantic presentation conforms to Adam & Eve Couples content, but the sci-fi element is unsatisfactory.
