Another good entry in the hit-and-miss series has Robert L. Ripley showing up at a "Believe It or Not" fan club party where he introduces some more strange stories. We learn how a German man kept America from being a German-speaking country. We see the largest chair in the world, see a ball of string that reaches 139-miles and a six-month baby with a full set of teeth. Also here is a tree with a gun stuck in the middle, two trees growing together and yet another tree that twists around. This short, unlike many in the series, gives us some video footage of the stories we're told about and this here is a major plus. All of the footage here is rather interesting and especially some of the stuff with the trees. We also get to see the "new" Empire State Building. Fans of the series will find quite a few of these stories interested and thanks to the video this remains one of the better entries.
