Black Days

The comment you'll hear, in the lobby, post movie, is, "I can't believe it was made for so little money!" The thoughts, during the movie, likely follow sad character to sadder character, as the movie explores people who are not necessarily villains or heroes, but gray shades moving in a black purgatory. It's film noir – it's a lost side-alley from Sin City – it's a forgotten road in Gotham – it's bullets and empty booze bottles and a sledge hammer pulping flesh and there is where the audience thoughts likely ride, forgetting that they are watching a low budget flick, when the film is rolling.
