I have to be honest, at first i didn't want to buy this game but now i'm glad i did. The reason at first i don't want it because i thought it would be just be the same adventure as the first two games, Red and Blue. But when my brother convince to have this i decide to give it a shot. And i'm so glad i did.
This game offers more that just the same adventure. It has improved graphics and music. The playable characters looks great as well. The new girl is really cute and the Boy looks great as well unlike that Albino boy Brandon from Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald who has white hair. The Pokemon looks just as great as they do in the anime. The music of this game is really good. It feels like real music rather than annoying beeping sounds. Its great to hear the old music again in a new way.
Another great thing is that you can get Jhoto Pokemon from Gold, Silver and Crystal versions. The place where you can find these are in the Sevii Islands, the best part of the game. These islands are first introduced in this game and they have a lot of Jhoto Pokemon, new mysteries to solve and of course you can breed Pokemon as well. You can also catch one of the Jhoto legendary dogs from this game depending on your starter (I started with a Bulbasaur so i'm getting an Entei). Also on these islands you can hear music from the good old Gold and Silver games which i think its creative making it look like these islands are half of Jhoto being chopped into pieces.
They are some troubling parts in these games like the Altering cave for example. Its so confusing on how to get those Jhoto Pokemon in those caves and i have no idea how this Mystery Gift thing works. Another thing is that there is no clock to tell what time it is. And with this you can't evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon.
Overall this game rocks and its the best Pokemon game ever but tied with Pokemon Emerald.
