Pertsa and Kilu are best friends, who get into sticky situations.A lot."Pertsa ja Kilu" (1970) is directed by Vili Auvinen.It's produced by Pertti Nättilä, who's known to us older kids as the voice of Ransu Karvakuono in Pikku Kakkonen.I found the series on a VHS from the library a little while back.It's quite enjoyable to watch the adventures of these boys.Tommi Auvinen and Jyrki Thil are great as Pertsa and Kilu.Eila Roine, Tommi's actual mother, plays his mom in this show.Ahti Haljala is his father.Grandmother Hellin Auvinen-Salmi plays Ämmä.Siblings Likka and Frantsu are played by Marjukka Halttunen and Esko Raipia.Janne Auvinen is Antti.Reino Kalliolahti and Sylvi Salonen play Kilu's parents.Later the mother was played by Eila Thil.Erkki Thil plays Paavola.The crooks Manki and Suokko are played by Veijo Pasanen and Kari Kihlström.Veijo's daughter Outi Pasanen plays Pirkko.Tenho Saurén plays the international villain, Mr. Blink.Maija-Liisa Majanlahti is Liisa.Raili Veivo plays the part of Pehkoska.There are lots of exciting situations the boys get into, like when they have unexpected guests on their boat.Or when they have to safe Pirkko from the crooks.There's some puppy love in the air between Pirkko and Pertsa.This is great fun for both kids and us older kids.
