Another very strong outing from PROGRESS, althought their production, which is usually top notch had some malfunctions with random silences between matches and sound volumes dipping all over the place. An off night for production. Opener was a hot start. The action in the ring was quick and it's a worthy opener. Drake's best match and looking forward to seeing Flash in Super Strong Style. (***1/4) Sweet Jesus/Riots was good, but went 17 minutes and that's waaay too long. The Riots keep on losing and it has to be leading to something. (***1/4) Banks/Seven was a hoot. They played well into the Banks' revenge storyline and made both look strong ahead of SSS16. (***3/4) Bate/Riddle was so good. Tyler is at the point where he is having great matches at a consistent rate. The finish is obviously setting up the potential rematch at SSS16. (****) The Main event was as good as you'd expect. Never let down for a minute, lots of clever three-way stuff. Hated the interference because it didn't directly play into the finish, given that a low blow would have been legal anyway. Still a great match. (****) No-one can take on British Strong Style" was the closing remark, as some new music hit & #CCK arrive to an enormous reaction and just like that, there's a fresh team in PROGRESS' tag division and the potential CCK/BSS matchup has me foaming at the mouth. Not at the level of past shows, but still super enjoyable.
