Kung Fu Ghost

This is close to fan film quality. The script is barely functional, it's predictable, but the saving grace is the main actress. She's quite good at comedy. I can't tell if all her lines were scripted or some of them ad-libbed, but during the first hour or so she popped out line after line that are just hilarious.

If one ignores the poor filming, poor directing, poor script and just enjoys the one-liners, it's at least worth a watch. But don't go in expecting much. As movies go this would make a good film school "Things to do and not do in a film" leader movie.

I do have to say though, that I have seen no other film with as many OBVIOUSLY biased staff / family reviews as this one. Consistent 9 & 10 star reviews for THIS film... each review with detailed production information? Not buying it.

About an hour in I found myself getting bored as even the one-liners lost their thrust and they became more serious, losing what they had going for them up to that point. This would probably make a good MST3K satire film. Definitely a rainy-Saturday-bored type movie. The first hour is worth it just to hear the one-liners and cute accent of the lead actress.
