Romy Schneider - one prime example of a star who was beloved for the roles and the persona she was portraying in movies. I doubt many knew of her or really wanted to know of her as an individual. As a person - not the image that was created (a little bit by herself too of course, but still).
And Jessica Schwarz hits the mark (or a German saying goes "trifft ins Schwarze" - you know I can't do this without having a pun or two). I liked her anyway, but was never aware that she did this - the movie passed me by. So I just watched this now (well not literally of course) and I have to admit it was quite intriguing. It does not reach the heights of Spencer as an autobiography or other movies that you can compare it with. But it still is more than a decent look into a struggling mind and person.
I assume there is even more to her, but as it is and if you are a fan of her, this is more than worth a look.
