The Valentine Competition

The movie takes place just a week before and up to Valentine's Day in Oregon. It means it takes place in the middle of winter which are harsh in Oregon. And yet, it was clearly shot in early autumn - singing birds are singing whole movie, most deciduous trees have green leaves, and some have yellowish, there are green deciduous bushes everywhere and gardens are full of roses, cast has typical late summer and early autumn clothes, no hats, gloves, heavy coats as was obviously warm outside. Even used aerial stock footage shows mostly green town which is impossible in early February.
