Somehow this show manages to pack every single moment with visuals, sound, shock, and attempts at humor. You'd think, law of averages such as it is, that there would be something funny here. There isn't.
It blasts your synapses with inane quick-fire visual gags and tries to pull you in with dialogue that falls flat. There is no emotional investment in the characters, and every moment that I could almost relate to a character enough to nearly give a care was undercut by the next absurdist "joke" the show carelessly tries to pass off as funny.
I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a show for children, what with the mature rating. I can't even imagine who the target audience is supposed to be. It certainly doesn't appeal to me or my roommates. Of note, they generally have a very different sense of humor and taste in comedy compared to me.
Each show is comparatively small, but it sure doesn't feel like it. Not a compliment. I honestly believe this show might have been made by taking the scrapped jokes from better shows/skits and pasting them together like a cobbled Frankenstein's monster of content.
To summarize, this show is devoid of humor at most points, and it isn't engaging at all to me. The only entertainment value I derived from this show was the realization that someone was paid money to make it, and Hulu shelled out money to host it. I implore the creators to bring this back to early 2010s YouTube and its era of "ecks dee haha random" where it belongs.
