The Lakehouse Murders

The movie centers on the couple Elise (Tianna Nori) and Allan (Jack Grinhaus), who relocate into a cabin surrounded by nature and overlooking a lake. Elise, hoping for a peaceful environment to pen down her book, gets distressed when another couple, Geena (Brendee Green) and Lee (Jean Paul Najm), moves into the cabin next to them. Unfortunately, Elise happens to share a tragic past with the two neighbors. This storyline is a bit insufficient for an original plot. Even the subplot with Sylvia (Gillian Fortin) and Murray (James M Jenkinson) does not suffice. This story is underdeveloped and gave us no time to get to know the characters and their motives better. Furthermore the pace of the movie is too slow. The one thing good about the movie is that there is suspense until the end. But too little too late.
