I was recently invited to a private screening of the film "Searching For Angels" in Toronto, ON Canada. This is one of the best Canadian made films that employ Canadian Film Makers ( which is why my interest was to peeked on this one to begin with )that have come by in a while.
Veronika London captures the grittiness of her character who suffers from a serious addiction, throw in a little memory loss and we have a great story for some inner-self psychology. Director Nadeem Soumah brings to life a story that rings true to the essence of the street and manages to keep the story flowing and on edge throughout the film ( Actually gave me anxiety ). Vivica A. Fox plays a loving mother type out for vengeance and managed to connect with anyone, on a deep emotional level, who has ever had to watch a loved one suffer through an addiction Hope to see this one get the recognition it deserves.
