In this set of threesome vignettes from the Deeper label there's more story and even acting than usual, before the inevitable gonzo porn takes over.

Domination is the main subtext as a powerful character asserts herself or himself at some point in the short story. Elements of BDSM are featured, without actually going whole-hog down that particular porno rabbit hole.

While Kayden Kross is the main director, one scene assigned to Ken Shiro comes off quite well. Titled "Do It Yourself" it presents a sort of "subcontractor" notion as a striking pair of brunettes both go the sub route, enjoying the mistreatment by a one-note, dour Manuel Ferrara. Liv WIld is Manuel's regular submissive, who is not only lashed and physically abused by him but treated callously, as if he can hardly take the time to deal with her at all. She goes to bed at home locked up in a chastity belt, which I guess is more fun than being attached to a CPAP machine.

Her roommate wants to be mastered too, and Manuel is REALLY disinterested in adding her to his busy schedule, but relents and a threesome ensues. This scene suffers from the same fault as the rest of the DVD: zero comic relief and the Deeper oh-so-serious mood that can be off-putting.

Some very fine acting is on display in "Come First", especially by Laney Grey, It's KK's condensed version of "Scene from a Marriage", depicting in rather emotionless fashion the romance and subsequent marriage of Laney to Black stud Troy Francisco, latter increasingly a go-to guy for delivering KK's BBC fetish in her videos. Story becomes a bit obscure as kink takes over but it seems that voluptuous Lena Paul joins the couple as a sex surrogate, with a threesome conducted as she hopefully becomes impregnated with the duo's future bambino. At least that's the inference I made from the sex action involving a creampie. Oddest element here, which I'm pretty damn sure is unintended, is a strange feel of "The Handmaid's Tale" as Laney and Troy use Lena to have/carry their child - quite odd for a porn movie and certainly the opposite of KK's attitude on female empowerment.

The other two scenes are more conventional porn, with Oliver Flynn and his big dick assigned to the sub role. Mona Wales is quite comfortable in a femdom performance as she treats her cheating husband Flynn to a rather dubious punishment: a threesome with her in charge involving his young lover Kenzie Reeves -titled "Worth the Trouble".

"Another Person" is a really dumb threesome scene, with Avery Cristy (KK's useful stand-in for the director's actress persona when KK herself does not deign to perform in front of the camera) gangs up with Vanna Bardot to dominate Flynn together. This scene is straight out of the Porno Chic 1970s era giving off that sought-out Radley Metzger vibe.
